EXCURSIONS | ROUND OF MILOS & POLYAIGOS

For those who wish to have an overall picture of the island, the round of Milos is the right option. Together we will circumnavigate Milos and we will visit the uninhabited island of Polyaigos which is located Northeast of Milos. The places where we stop for swimming are accessible only by sea.

Starting from Adamas, we pass through the colorful fishing villages of Skinopi, Klima, Areti and Fourkovouni to admire them up close. Νext we will observe Arkoudes, rocks carved by the waves that take the form of a bear and various other animals, to guess with which other animals they look like! Then we head to the North side of the island to admire the villages and the famous lunar landscape of Sarakiniko. Thereafter we will approach the volcanic islands of Glaronissia where they are made of lava and have the shape of hexagonal columns.

Our first stop for swimming will be the Blue Waters of Polyaigos island. After enjoying this natural pool, we will head to the eastern part of Milos to admire and learn the history of the Sulfur Mines at Thiorichia. Afterwards we will see the southern beaches of Paleochori and Agia Kyriaki, and we will stop at our favorite beach of Gerakas, where we will swim in its emerald waters and laugh a lot while going down the natural sand slides. Leaving Gerakas, we will continue sailing the South part of Milos passing by Tsigrado beach, the large coast of Fyriplaka and the rocky arch of Gerontas until we will reach the famous Kleftiko, the hideout of pirates. At Kleftiko we will swim in its wonderful caves, we will take many photos and we will have our lunch gazing the unique landscape. Next stop is the Cave of Sykia, whose roof has collapsed. There, we will take photos and enjoy the wild beauty of Western Milos, while sunbathing. Reaching the top of the West side, we meet the old manganese mines at Cape Vani. Finally, we return to the port of Adamas with wonderful pictures, a satisfying tan, and many photos to remember your beautiful moments.
